About Your Trainers:
Lee Jay Berman is a leading commercial mediator with more than 30 years of experience and over 3,000 mediated civil matters, including high-profile cases. Consistently recognized as one of the nation’s top mediators, he has been ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA (top 16 in the U.S.) and named annually to the Who’s Who of Commercial Mediation and as a Global Thought Leader. He is also recognized in ADR Times’ inaugural “Who’s Who in ADR,” listing, and honored by the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel with its 2024 Counsel of the Year Award in ADR. Other distinctions include the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals’ first “Distinguished Neutral of the Year,” and California’s Daily Journal’s Top Neutral recognitions. And, the Southern California Mediation Association has honored him with their Excellence in Civil and Employment Mediation Award (2026), their Cloke-Millen Peacemaker of the Year (2021), and Randolph Lowry Award (2010) for his work as a mediator, trainer, and thought leader in the field.
Wendy W. Kramer is a highly effective full-time mediator. Formerly a partner with Kramer & Kramer handling a wide variety of insurance-related matters, she has developed particular expertise in matters involving personal injury, business disputes, professional malpractice, landlord tenant disputes and complex litigation.In addition to serving as the 2013 President of the Southern California Mediation Association, Ms. Kramer has served as the ADR Chair for the Santa Monica Bar Association, a panel neutral for Kaiser Permanente, the Los Angeles and Ventura Superior Courts ADR Programs, and a Fee Dispute Mediator/Arbitrator for both the Beverly Hills and Santa Monica Bar Associations. Ms. Kramer has served on the Board of Governors for the International Academy of Mediation and currently serves as the chair of the IAM’s Mentorship Program.
Steve Rottman has an international reputation for his unique approach to the art of resolving commercial disputes. Steve graduated from Harvard Law School with honors and is a summa cum laude graduate of Duke University. He spent 20 years as a trial lawyer before committing full time to mediation. The Los Angeles Daily Journal named him one of the “top 50 neutrals in the state,” and he has been recognized consistently by “Best Lawyers in America” and the “Super Lawyer” publications as both a trial lawyer and mediator. Steve lectures and trains mediators internationally and is an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
Doug Noll speaks about and teaches people how to solve difficult, intractable, and highly emotional problems. He was a business and commercial trial lawyer for 22 years before turning to leadership development, problem-solving, and peacemaking. He is a Senior Consultant with Mobius Executive Leadership and maintains a high level mediation and arbitration practice. For his innovative work, Doug Noll has been voted as one of the Best Lawyers in America since 2005, by US News & World Report and has been recognized since 2006 as a Northern California Super Lawyer. He is listed in the Who's Who of International Commercial Mediators. He has been honored as Lawyer of the Year in 2014 by Best Lawyers in America. In 2014, Doug was honored as a Purpose Prize Fellow by Encore.org. In 2018, Doug was named the Distinguished Neutral of the Year by The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.
